Hole Rush · Last updated: October 14, 2026

Hole Rush ("the game") is a mobile game made by Coderflight ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the game uses, why, and the choices you have.

In short: we don't ask for an account and we don't collect your personal data ourselves. Your progress stays on your device. The game shows ads through Google AdMob, which collects some device data to serve and measure ads. You decide whether that data may be used to track you.

1. Data stored on your device

To remember your game, Hole Rush saves the following only on your device:

  • the level you've reached, your best results and star ratings;
  • your coins and the skins you own or have equipped;
  • your sound, music and vibration settings;
  • which tips you've already seen, and your daily-challenge streak.

We never receive this data. Deleting the game deletes it.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game is free and supported by ads, served by Google AdMob. To show, limit and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect from your device:

  • your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking (see section 3);
  • your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
  • device and app information, such as the model, operating-system version and language;
  • how you interact with ads, such as views and taps;
  • diagnostic data, such as crash and performance information about the ad service.

Google processes this data under its own terms. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Ads are optional where they give a reward: you choose to watch a rewarded ad, for example to continue a run or double your coins. Occasional full-screen ads appear between levels, never during play, and the optional "No Ads" purchase turns them off.

3. Tracking: your choice

On iOS, the game asks for permission before your advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you'll still see ads, but they'll be less personalised. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

4. Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows a consent message, provided by Google, before personalised ads are used. You can review or change your choice at any time in the game, under Settings › Privacy choices.

5. In-app purchases

Purchases, such as the optional starter bundle, are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, payment card or Apple ID; the game only receives confirmation of what you bought, so it can unlock it. "Restore Purchases" in Settings asks Apple for that confirmation again.

6. What we don't do

  • We don't require an account or ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location.
  • We don't sell your personal data.
  • We don't run our own analytics or tracking.

7. Children

Hole Rush is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the game, contact us and we'll help remove it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Since we don't hold personal data about you, most requests concern Google's ad data: you can exercise those through your consent and tracking choices above, or with Google directly. You can always contact us for help.

9. Changes to this policy

If the way the game uses data changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date before that version of the game is released.
