Discover Algeria

Algeria boasts an immense cultural, historical, and natural heritage — Djemila, Timgad, Tassili n'Ajjer, Tamanrasset — still little-known to travelers.

The challenge: to bring together in a single app everything you need to discover these places, plan a stay, and understand what you're visiting — for tourists, expatriates, and residents alike.

We designed and developed Discover Algeria, an iOS and Android app that guides the traveler from inspiration to the visit:

• AI-powered landmark recognition : one photo is all it takes to identify a site and get its analysis and historical context.
• Personalized recommendations tailored to each user's preferences.
• Interactive map of must-see places.
• Immersive photo and video galleries with detailed descriptions.
• Trip planner with filters by region, budget, and interests.
• Practical tips on traditions, festivals, gastronomy, accommodation, and transportation.
• A multilingual interface.

Launched in June 2025 on the App Store and Google Play, the app has surpassed 5,000 downloads on Google Play, with a rating of 4.4/5 from 88 reviews.
