Email triage, invoice extraction, follow-ups: how a well-scoped AI agent frees up hours every week without losing control.
In many companies, the back-office is made of repetitive gestures: read an email, extract a piece of information, copy it into a tool, follow up. That is exactly where AI agents shine.
What is an agent?
An agent is a language model given tools: read a mailbox, query a CRM, create a draft invoice. It decides which tool to use, and in which order, to reach a goal.
A concrete example
- A supplier emails an invoice.
- The agent reads it and extracts amount, due date and references.
- It checks the matching order in the ERP.
- If everything matches, it prepares the entry; otherwise, it flags the discrepancy to a human.
Keeping humans in control
We design agents with approval checkpoints: any sensitive action (payment, external email) waits for sign-off. Every decision is logged and explainable.
Measure before scaling
We start with one specific flow, measure the automation rate and errors, then expand step by step. The goal isn't to automate everything, but to automate what should be.
Got a repetitive flow in mind? Describe it in our simulator under "AI integration".
